I’m a Creative Director and Designer based in London, working across publishing, exhibition, brand and campaign. I work with artists, editors, curators, cultural institutions and design-led brands, shaping books, identities, packaging and environments that are as thoughtful as they are visually distinctive.

With over 15 years’ experience, I’ve led creative direction across long-form editorial projects, public campaigns, exhibitions and brand worlds. From intimate artist collaborations to large-scale, multi-platform work, my practice is content-led, typographically grounded and structurally alert: I’m interested in how design holds meaning – emotionally, semantically, and over time.

I’m inspired by pop culture, art, people watching and semiotics; obsessed with colour, composition, allegory and negative space. I thrive on distilling complex ideas into design that feels intelligent. My work is layered and emotionally charged – sometimes sharp, sometimes playful, never generic. The work moves fluidly across disciplines but always begins with noticing, fragmenting and overlaying, until the structure develops its own syntax, and the design begins to take shape.

Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I work closely with clients and contributors, building design together with care, curiosity, and mutual respect. I believe in shaping meaning as a collective process, and I strive to create work that resonates and feels authentic to those involved.

Editorial development runs alongside my design work. I collaborate closely with contributors to shape publications with rhythm, voice and point of view. I also have deep expertise in print and production – particularly in complex, high-spec publishing – and a detailed knowledge of how materials, processes and finishes contribute to both meaning and form.

My Fine Art training at Central Saint Martins still shapes how I see things in terms of composition, cultural reference, and the poetics of image and form. I approach design as both lens and language: a way of making visible the coded, the overlooked, and the uneasy border between meaning and beauty.

I’m currently developing an independent magazine exploring the symbolic and emotional life of domestic objects; the things we live with, the stories they absorb, and what they reveal about taste, memory and class.

Design, for me, is a way of paying attention – to structure, to surface, to people, to culture – and finding form for what might otherwise go unnoticed.
