I’m a Creative Director and Designer with over 15 years’ experience leading brand, editorial and exhibition projects across culture, publishing and design-led industries. My work combines conceptual clarity with a sharp material sensibility, shaping identities, campaigns and publications that are as thoughtful as they are visually distinctive.

The constant in my work is structure – not as a fixed style, but as a way of thinking. I develop visual syntax that responds to tone, context and materiality, building systems that hold meaning, emotionally and semantically. Whether maximal or minimal, playful or precise, my role is to create work that feels alive to its subject.

Pop culture, art, people-watching and semiotics inform how I see. I’m drawn to colour, composition, allegory and negative space – to the coded, the overlooked, the small shifts that alter perception. My process begins with noticing: fragmenting, overlaying, and shaping until the design develops its own internal logic and form.

Collaboration is integral to this. I build design through conversation – careful listening, critical engagement, shared attention. Whether working with artists, editors, curators or brands, I believe in shaping meaning as a collective process, creating work that resonates and feels authentic to those involved.

Editorial development is central to my practice. I work closely with contributors to shape publications with rhythm, voice and point of view, developing narrative structure and refining content through design. For me, editing and design are parallel acts – both concerned with how meaning is framed, paced and revealed. This approach informs everything from artist monographs and exhibition catalogues to campaign storytelling and brand worlds.

My Fine Art training at Central Saint Martins continues to inform my approach – in composition, cultural reference and the poetics of image and form. I approach design as both lens and language: a way of translating content, framing experience, and making visible the uneasy border between meaning and beauty.

I’m currently developing an independent magazine exploring the symbolic and emotional life of domestic objects – the things we live with, the stories they absorb, and what they reveal about taste, memory and class.

Design, for me, is a way of paying attention: to structure, to surface, to people, to culture – and finding form for what might otherwise go unnoticed.
